Wrestlers must have a current USA Wrestling Athlete Membership.

As defined by USA Wrestling's Age Groups and Weight Classes.
Illinois/USA Wrestling will adhere to USA Wrestling's Competition Category Policy.
Boys - USA Junior, 16U, 14U, 12U, 10U, 8U.
Wrestlers are allowed to wrestle in one age group and one weight class only.
Multiple registrations and double bracketing are not allowed.

United World Wrestling (UWW) with USA Wrestling (USAW) modifications.

2-man brackets will wrestle ONE BOUT (No best 2 of 3).
No exhibition matches.

No refunds will be made for any reason.

On-site: $75 CASH ONLY, On-site registration available at DeKalb High School.

All spectators including coaches - $10.
Children 5 years old and younger - Free.

Wrestlers must bring a copy of their USAW athlete membership card to weigh-in.
Wrestlers must weigh-in wearing a competition singlet.
Wrestlers have two consecutive attempts to weigh-in.

Saturday, May 2, 2026 - DeKalb High School.
Sunday, May 3, 2026 - DeKalb High School for 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U only.

8:30 am to approximately 1:30 pm - Wrestling for USA Junior only, brackets that are not finished on Saturday will finish on Sunday.
1:30 pm to approximately 6:30 pm - Wrestling for 16U only, brackets that are not finished on Saturday will finish on Sunday.

Sunday, May 3, 2026, DeKalb High School.
8:00 am - Rules Clinic
8:30 am - Wrestling for 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U plus any remaining USA Junior and 16U weight classes that did not finish on Saturday.

Predominantly RED and predominantly BLUE singlets are required, or singlets mimicking the UWW color scheme.
If a singlet is mimicking the UWW color scheme, the following criteria must be met:
1) The dominant color of RED singlets shall be comprised of one of the following: white, orange, pink, red, yellow, brown, or gold.
2) The dominant color of BLUE singlets shall be comprised of one of the following: black, blue, green, grey, purple, or silver.
3) Two 7 cm bands, one on each leg, shall be positioned across the bottom edge of the leg. For clear distinction, the marking shall cover the circumference of the leg.
4) One 7 cm band positioned on the backside of the upper torso. The band shall be exclusively placed on the back half of the singlet (not visible on the front half).
5) The bands must remain untouched from any graphic, logo, or third-party identification.

- All coaches are required to have an active USAW Wrestling Leader Membership.
- All coaches are required to be NCEP certified (acceptable levels: copper, bronze, silver, or gold).
- All coaches will need to check-in at the head table and receive a coach's band.
- All coaches must pay the $10 spectator admission fee.

All age groups:
1) USAW Freestyle P.I.N. rating.
2) Team or club members.

USA Bracketing will be utilized for this event.
Line bracketing with double elimination.

USA Junior and 16U - Medals for 1st through 3rd place.
14U, 12U, 10U, 8U - Medals for 1st through 4th place.

USA Junior - Top three (3) in each weight class qualify for the USA Junior Freestyle National Championships.
16U - Top three (3) in each weight class qualify for the 16U Freestyle National Championships.

There is no registration on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for USA Junior and 16U.
There is no registration on Sunday, May 3, 2026 for 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U.
